Episode #13: Interview with Angela Davis and Debbie Kilroy. No Biggie.

Ti and Emmy interview legendary prison abolitionist and socialist Angela Davis, as well as Debbie Kilroy an amazing prison abolitionist based in Brisbane. Don’t worry, we’re freaking out too.

The interview covers capitalism, prison abolitionist theory and day-to-day practice, socialism, and how to build the revolutionary left.

The interview took place at the Sisters Inside prison abolition conference in Brisbane. For that reason the sound quality is not as good as we would have hoped.

Please check out Sisters Inside here: sistersinside.com.au/
Also, at the conference, Emmy and Ti met a bunch of former prisoners running a podcast/radio show about prison and criminal justice issues, check it out here: www.facebook.com/radioseeds/

CONTENT WARNING: at the beginning of the episode, Debbie talks about an extremely violent event that sparked the formation of Sisters Inside.
